Traditional English Sausage Sarnie

Serves: 1 - 2

Cooking Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

♣ CTC English Breakfast sausages

♣ Wholegrain mustard

♣ Bread or bread buns

♣ Oil

♣ Onion

♣ Tomato ketchup

♣ Wholegrain mustard

Method:

Preheat the grill or BBQ and cook 4 - 6 CTC English Breakfast sausages for 10-12 minutes, turning once. One minute before the end of cooking time spread 10ml (1dsp) wholegrain mustard over 4 large slices of bread or 2 bread buns and lightly toast.

Meanwhile make the relish: In a small saucepan heat 5ml (1tsp) oil and fry 1 onion, thinly sliced, for 3-4 minutes or until soft. Add 30ml (2tbsp) tomato ketchup and 5ml (1tsp) wholegrain mustard. Heat through.

Serving Suggestion:

Place the sausage between the toasted bread.

Serve with the relish.
