Sausage Butty
A traditional British sandwich recipe and
a very simple snack to make. (per person) |

Ingredients: 2 Slices of Whole Wheat
bread or a nice round soft bun 2 - 3 Old Country Cottage or London Pub
Sausages * * * Daddys Brown Sauce * * *
Instructions: 1. Lay one piece of bread on your
chopping board and spread a layer of butter onto your piece of bread. 2. 2.
Fry or grill 2 - 3 sausages 3. Toast the bun or bread in the same frying pan
sausages were fried when completely cold down, slice in half length wise and
place on the toasted bread or bun. 4. Finally, add Daddys brown sauce,
Daddys tomato ketchup, Branston Pickle, Heinz ploughmans pickle or
H.P. sauce desire.
Optional: tomatoes, onions and a side order of Heinz
beanz goes great with a sausage butty. |
