♣ 1 lb (450g) cabbage finely shredded
♣ 4 to 6 slices of Irish Bacon * * *
♣ 1 onion finely chopped
♣ 2 tablespoons olive oil
♣ 1 clove garlic crushed
♣ salt and pepper |

Procedure:
1. Oil a large frying pan with olive
oil
2. Fry the onion and bacon avoid
splattering for about 5 minutes until onions soften and bacon cooks. Do not
over cook.
3. Add the crushed garlic then cook for another 2-3
minutes.
4.. Now stir in the shredded
cabbage
5. Keep stirring it so it cooks evenly.
6. Add the salt and pepper to taste.
7. The cabbage should cook in about 10 minutes retaining
some of its crispness.
8. Cabbage may be steamed by placing a lid on the pan to
soften the cabbage.
